Following PRISMA guidelines, a recent systematic review of published papers on the alterations in EEG functional connectivity in depression patients found 52 papers. Only two of these studies were deemed to be of the highest quality. BM-Science researchers carried out both of these studies.

The studies are: “a title="Three-diensional components of selfhood in treatment-naïve patients with major depressive disorder: a resting-state qEEG imaging study"""""Three-dimensional components of selfhood in treatment-naïve patients with major depressive disorder: a resting-state qEEG imaging study” published in 2017, and the study: “Impaired functional connectivity at EEG alpha and theta frequency bands in major depression” published in 2007.
