Operational Architectonics (OA) theory of brain–mind functioning, developed by BM-Science researchers, has been recognized as one of the most mature and influential theories of consciousness in the award-winning project “The Actor Framework for Artificial Consciousness with an Illustrative Application to Field Theories.”
The project, which won the Noetic Sciences Research Prize 2025, evaluated 21 field theories of consciousness. OA theory was ranked #2 among the five most mature theories and selected as one of the three included in the Actor Framework, alongside CEMI (Conscious Electromagnetic Information) and ZPF (Zero Point Field) theories.
BM-Science is especially proud that OA theory uniquely incorporates the concept of the Moral Actor, a dimension considered essential for ensuring the safe and ethical development of artificial consciousness systems.
