EFFECT OF CORONAVIRUS EPIDEMIC IN OUR OPERATIONS

The Coronavirus (Covid-19) Epidemic is affecting the functioning of society and may eventually limit our ability to carry out our activity. For the moment we are operating normally. If the situation changes, we will publish the information in this page.

OUR LABORATORY IN ESPOO REMAINS OPEN – THE SITUATION MAY CHANGE - STAY TUNED

EXCEPTIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS -  For persons who need EEG registration or need to visit our lab in the coming days or weeks, during the Coronavirus outbreak:

•  If you experience “flu-like” signs or symptoms or belong to a COVID-19 high risk group, and :
  • you have a time-reservation with us, please contact us so that we can give you another time for a date when you are healthy.
  • You don’t have a time-reservation with us, please do not book a time with us until you feel healthy.
    Please allow extra delay tolerance time of approx. two-three weeks.

• If you don’t have any symptoms, the service will be done normally but with extra precautions:
  • Prior to visiting our lab, please follow the advice of health authorities on how to avoid contamination (THL in Finnish, and English) (wash your hands very frequently, avoid large groups of people, avoid touching surfaces in public transportation or other public places, etc…)
  • In the lab, our staff is having additional (more frequent) cleaning and disinfection procedures. Please refrain from handshaking.

The normal procedures in our lab already ensure that all our equipment is washed and clean prior to each EEG session (independently of the current public health epidemy).

 We suggest to periodically check the instructions and advise of public health authorities.
